By youth, to youth, from the youth!

The objective of the MENA adolescent and youth symposia is to share the latest evidence-based solutions, to inform policy and promote the scale up of good practices addressing key issues related to youth and adolescents in MENA.

What makes the MENA Adolescent and Youth Symposia unique is that these are developed, planned, implemented and monitored in partnership with young people from MENA, especially the most vulnerable adolescents and youth.

Specific Objectives:

  • Provide an update on the evidence for adolescents and youth in MENA.
  • Share sustainable and effective solutions addressing key issues of relevance to young people: Violence, Education to Work transition, Engagement, Gender and Mental Health.
  • Ensure systematic participation of vulnerable adolescents and youth throughout the process.
  • Facilitate active discussions between donors, young people, policymakers and practitioners.
